How do we change cleaning contractors without disrupting the workplace?
A well-managed transition usually includes:
- confirming the new written scope and service frequencies
- documenting keys, alarms, access and restricted areas
- completing site inductions and required checks
- confirming storage, equipment, products and consumables
- setting escalation and operational contacts
- agreeing the commencement date and first-service priorities
- reviewing the early services and correcting any scope gaps
An old scope can be used as a reference, but the facility should be inspected again so outdated tasks or missing areas are not carried into the new contract.
