How do I complete an inspection and capture evidence?
The exact fields depend on the workflow configured for your organisation. A typical inspection follows these steps:
- Confirm that you have selected the correct site, property, zone, asset or area.
- Open the relevant inspection checklist or category.
- Record the result against the agreed acceptance criteria.
- Add the required photo, factual note or other evidence.
- Check that the finding is linked to the correct location and inspection record.
- Submit or save the inspection according to your team's process.
Where enabled, the record may also include the inspection time, location and staff attribution. Use clear photos and short factual notes that help a manager understand the condition without being present.
Privacy: Do not record passwords, payment details, health information or unrelated personal information. Avoid photographing people, identity documents, private screens or personal belongings unless this is necessary, authorised and covered by the client's privacy process.
